Weekly Church Update
Week of November 23rd, 2025
During the month of November, we will be taking a love offering that will go towards our Missionaries. Online donations can be directed to the Benevolent Fund. All donations to the Benevolent Fund during the month of November will go towards our Missionaries. In-person donations can be left in any of the donation boxes, please indicate on the check or the envelope, "For Missionaries Offering".
The church office will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving holidays.
2026 CIBC Calendars will be available this Sunday. It is $3.5/each, and we have limited supplies. We will be selling it after the Cantonese Sunday service in Room 101, and after the Mandarin Sunday service in the Fellowship Hall.
Summer Enrichment Camp (SEC) is coming back. It will be held from June 15th (Mon.) to June 19th (Fri.), 2026 for kindergarten to 4th grade (completed) students. Staff registration opens this Sunday, 11/23. Please sign up online by January, 25th, 2026 at https://forms.gle/czXhguqN4y3poftx9 and see more details on our church website. Paper forms will be available on the table outside of Rm 101 as well. There are many different areas to help, part-time and full-time.
2025 Shoebox Ministry: BIG Send-Off is this Sunday,11/23! Drop off your shoebox gift, along with $10 shipping cost each, at the "Shoebox Ministry" booth before 12:30pm. If you can assist in loading up the cars or transporting the shoeboxes to Castro Valley or Pleasanton, please meet at the front foyer at 1pm.

2025 Expense Reimbursements: To ensure that we close 2025 in a timely manner, please submit reimbursement requests with eBlue form and receipts to
no later than January 11, 2026.
2025 Donations: For donations to be included in your 2025 tax year, they must be submitted to CIBC by Sunday, January 4, 2026 and dated no later than December 31, 2025. Online donations for 2025 must be submitted online before 12:00am on January 1, 2026. Anything received after that date/time may not be included for 2025. No exceptions. The 2025 FLOWER CALENDAR is available for signup. It is posted on the Church Ministry and Church News bulletin board on the hallway. If you wish to sign up, please use the flower envelopes placed on the wall next to the flower calendar, and designate your date(s) to commemorate someone or something.
Children’s Church (1st - 5th grades) 9:15am - 11:00am, Room 313
Note: The Children will participate with the Congregation in the Sanctuary from 9:15am to 9:35am. Between 10:45am and 11:00am, the children will be provided with snacks and have supervised free time. They can be picked up by their parents during this time, or they can remain in the room until their teachers escort them to their Sunday school classrooms at 11:00am.

Parents: Please be sure to pick up your children promptly at 12:15 PM.
If you need to park in the parking lot right next to our church on 8th St and block other people's cars on Sundays, please remember to give your car key to the parking lot usher or people in charge in Room 101, and provide your name and contact number as well. In addition, please pick up your car key in the parking lot after the Sunday services as soon as possible. If you come late, please find your key in a black box on the wall of Room 101.
