2025 Shoebox Ministry: Seize this exciting opportunity to share Christ with a needy child using a simple shoebox! Other than hygiene items and school supplies, try to include a “WOW” gift in each of the shoeboxes! Maybe a medium-sized backpack, a soccer ball with a pump, or a good quality cute stuffed animal? Share a personal note, and pray for the recipients of your shoeboxes as well! The boys and girls are waiting!! *A friendly reminder that in addition to candies and toothpaste, soap is also not allowed inside the shoeboxes.
Please bring your shoeboxes to church along with $10 shipping cost each. You can also pay for the $10 shipping cost online at https://samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/label-options/ and follow your box and find out the country where your box will be delivered. The Shoebox Booth will be open every Sunday near the stairway and outside of the Sanctuary from 10am-11am and 12:15pm-12:45pm.
Shoebox Send-off will be on Sunday, November 23rd after church at 1pm. We need helpers to load shoeboxes into cars and transport shoeboxes to Redwood Chapel in Castro Valley. The driver sign-up sheet is posted on the wall outside of the “OCC Shoebox Room”.
