Weekly Church Update
Week of December 7th, 2025
There will be a GCM (General Congregational Meeting) to vote for 2026 Church Council and review and approve for 2026 budget at 1pm, this Sunday, December 7th at Social Hall. Absentee ballots will be available prior to the meeting in the Social Hall, see Deacon Ken at the end of Worship Services or Sunday School. Lunch will be provided at a nominal cost before GCM for everyone.
On Sunday, December 21st at 9:15AM, during the English Worship Service, we will present "Humble Adoration", a Christmas Celebration. Following the worship service join us for "Christmas Cafe" in the Social Hall. It will be an extended time of IBF which will include a variety of refreshments, extended fellowship time, Christmas caroling, a time of sharing and time of prayer.
2026 CIBC Calendars will be available this Sunday. It is $3.5/each, and we have limited supplies. We will be selling it after the Cantonese Sunday service in Room 101.
2025 Expense Reimbursements: To ensure that we close 2025 in a timely manner, please submit reimbursement requests with eBlue form and receipts to no later than January 11, 2026.
2025 Donations: For donations to be included in your 2025 tax year, they must be submitted to CIBC by Sunday, January 4, 2026 and dated no later than December 31, 2025. Online donations for 2025 must be submitted online before 12:00am on January 1, 2026. Anything received after that date/time may not be included for 2025. No exceptions. Summer Enrichment Camp (SEC) is coming back. It will be held from June 15th (Mon.) to June 19th (Fri.), 2026 for kindergarten to 4th grade (completed) students. Staff registration is open now! Please sign up online by January, 25th, 2026 at https://forms.gle/czXhguqN4y3poftx9 and see more details on our church website. Paper forms will be available on the table outside of Rm 101 as well. There are many different areas to help, part-time and full-time.
The 2025 FLOWER CALENDAR is available for signup. It is posted on the Church Ministry and Church News bulletin board on the hallway. If you wish to sign up, please use the flower envelopes placed on the wall next to the flower calendar, and designate your date(s) to commemorate someone or something.
Note: The Children will participate with the Congregation in the Sanctuary from 9:15am to 9:35am. Between 10:45am and 11:00am, the children will be provided with snacks and have supervised free time. They can be picked up by their parents during this time, or they can remain in the room until their teachers escort them to their Sunday school classrooms at 11:00am.

Parents: Please be sure to pick up your children promptly at 12:15 PM.
If you need to park in the parking lot right next to our church on 8th St and block other people's cars on Sundays, please remember to give your car key to the parking lot usher or people in charge in Room 101, and provide your name and contact number as well. In addition, please pick up your car key in the parking lot after the Sunday services as soon as possible. If you come late, please find your key in a black box on the wall of Room 101.
