2026 OCC Shoebox Ministry: Seize this exciting opportunity to share Christ with a needy child using a simple shoebox! In addition to hygiene items and school supplies, include a “WOW” gift in each shoebox! Some ideas include a medium-sized backpack, a soccer ball with a pump, or a good quality cute stuffed animal. Feel free to also add a personal note or picture of you/your family. Most importantly, don't forget to pray for the recipients of your shoeboxes! The boys and girls are waiting!! *A friendly reminder that candies, toothpaste and soap are not allowed. Shoebox Send-off will be on Sunday, November 22nd.
Beginning on 10/25, you can drop off your shoeboxes to the "OCC Shoebox Room"(Room 104) at church, along with $10 shipping cost for each box. You can also pay for the $10 shipping cost online at https://samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/label-options , and follow your shoebox to find out where your shoebox is delivered. The "Shoebox Room" will be open every Sunday from 10:15am-10:45am and 11:45am-12:15pm.
We are also collecting empty shoe boxes, as well as donations of NEW toys, school supplies, etc. to fill the boxes. And we would encourage you to make donations online or leave checks & cash in any of the locked donation boxes at church, and please indicate on the check or the envelope, "For Shoebox Offering".
